        Ishant's full name is Ishant Vijay Sharma was born on 2 September 1988 in Delhi. He is 32 years old. Height 6 Feet 5 inches (195 cm) Mother's name Girisha Sharma and father's name is Vijay Sharma He is married to his wife's name Pratima Singh is an Indian basketball player. Ishant is a fast bowler who plays for Team India. He has done well for Team India for Tests, ODIs, and T20. his Nick name is Lambu 


Debut (Test, ODI, or T20)

                Ishant Sharma Jersey no.97,  he started from the Test match. he was part of Team India   at the age of 18, who was selected   for the tour of South Africa did not get a chance to play on it. 


 Debut Test (Cap 258) match took   place on 25 May 2007 against   Bangladesh. He has played 99 Test   matches now playing against Team England today in the 100th match.7/74, this his best record. 


ODI (Cap 169) debut was against South Africa on 29 June 2007 so far, 115 ODIs have been taken in 80 ODI matches so far 4/34, this is his best score.

  

 On 1 Feb 2008, T20 (Cap 21) match Ishant made his debut, he has played only 14 matches, his best score is 2/34. He has not got the chance to play T20 and ODI matches much but he is the main fast bowler of the Test match.

IPL Career 

            Ishant Sharma is a good fast bowler, is also part of the IPL (Indian Premier League). He was part of the KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) squad in the IPL career from 2008 to 2010. He became a part of Deccan Chargers in the 2011 AUCTION. He was also a part of 2012. He has so far performed for 6 franchises such as Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rising Pune Supergiants, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Capitals.

          

          Right now he performs for Delhi Capitals, he was bought for the 2018 prize at the best prize of 1.1 crores in the IPL of 2020. he played only 1 match, he was not part of the main squad after due to his Injury (abdominal muscle tear). He has been out of the team many times due to his injury.
